This morning there was horrific accident on I-35, about the middle of Salado, with serious injuries. Our police and fireman were on location assisting, helping, and caring for the people involved in the accident.
Thank you!
This morning Salado awoke to a weather forecast that called for heavy rain, possible hail, and high winds. Our Police and Volunteer Fire Departments along with our Maintenance worker were ready with barricades for high water, a tractor for moving limbs and mud, and a concern for the health and welfare of each of you.
Thank you!
A week ago, a deer tried to jump a fence in a neighbor and miscalculated the jump. It landed in the middle of the fence with a spike in its stomach. The Police Department, with care, took the dead deer off the fence and gently drove it to its final resting place.
Thank you!
Last Friday, some of our Policeman and Fireman, along with others, started cooking early morning for the Construction worker picnic. Using their personal time and cooking skills, they made many people happy.
Thank you!
Our security, health, and welfare are crucial. Thanks to our Policeman and Volunteer Fire Department, we are safe and secure.
Very respectfully,
