Your turn -- Keeping Salado a quality place to live

Friends,

Sometimes we talk/write too much and do not listen enough.  As the new years begin, we are interested in hearing your suggestions for improving life in our Village.  It is understood that roads, ordinances, and other major issues are at the top of the list.  What else, in addition to these, would improve our quality of life.

FACTS:

Salado citizens are intelligent and creative citizens that can hold their own with any Village in Texas.

We live in a beautiful area of trees, creeks, farm land, and wildlife.

We have a brand that most people in Texas have either heard about or experienced.

THIS BEING SAID,

Please respond with you ideas on how to make Salado better.  

FOR INSTANCE, 

     -- if you were a writer or had an ambition to be a writer, what could we do as a Village to make that dream come true

     -- if you wanted to invite more people to Salado to shop or play golf or just relax, what would you suggest?

    -- if you wanted to improve the parks or college hill, what would you do?

    -- if you wanted more events to bring the community together, what would they be?

    -- if you wanted to make life better for the residents of Salado, what would you do?

 YOU ARE NOT BEING SELFISH OR SELF-CENTERED, SO TELL US WHAT YOU WOULD LIKE

   -- what would you like the Board of Aldermen, the Chamber, the School, the service organizations, and others do to make this a quality place for you to live.  It is understood -- roads, ordinances, etc are at the top of the list.  What else in addition to these?

 PLEASE 

   -- be positive with you suggestions and recommendations

   -- center on quality of life for families, youth, single parents, senior citizens

   -- be creative, there are no dumb answers
