Salado on a Saturday

Friends,

    Saturday in Salado.  Working, Working, Working!

100 degree heat, hot sun, and super hot asphalt.  At work early and working through the hottest part of the day!  Thomas Arnold is paved at no cost to the Village.   Three companies came together to do it:

TXDoT, Remington, James Construction.

Dave's Barber Shop.  Notice the numbers on the large rock?  Dave had them made and he is as proud as he can be.  Do you see the post on the right bottom of the picture near the edge of the drive way?  He is going to make a Barber pole from it with a Chain Saw.  He even has the top light for it. Dave also mows his own yard by hand.  Just a shop owner doing his part to make "Salado Special."

Momma said if I pat my foot and sing while I work, it will be fun.
