This Saturday, some extra special people visited your community. They have a message for you:
Janet and Stan were last in Salado two years ago. In their words,
"We were sadden when we saw what was happening to Salado. It was
hard to believe what Salado was going throughl."
This is what Janet and Stan said Saturday:
"It is so good to be back in Salado. It has been two years since were were here.
We are so happy that Salado is coming back. We can feel the
spirit. This is the Salado we love."
One of our Veterans visiting Salado this week was Steve and
his family from Georgetown.
They chose to bring their guests to Salado to shop.
Steve was in Desert Storm and that smile tells it all
along with his USA Star logo on his shirt.
Now if we can get Steve and his family to move to Salado!
Gabe and Nina have a new baby. Their trip
to Salado was the first time to go
anywhere without the baby. Even though
they live in Belton, Salado was their
choice!
What an honor!
Even with the rain, it was a great Saturday. Read between the lines. "THEY CHOSE SALADO!
They could have gone anywhere, but THEY CHOSE SALADO!
And, they all said, WE LOVE SALADO!
