BOA, 12 August

Friends,

     Due to the Aldermen and Alderwoman being on vacation and not having a quorum to conduct business, the Board of Aldermen (BOA) was re-scheduled for 12 August, 6:30 P.M.  The Workshop will follow after the BOA.  The business of both meetings will be posted at least 72 hours before the meeting.

     Both the BOA and Workshop will address major village business.   For information purposes, you may want to attend and listen to the Aldermen discuss these issues.  As you are aware, uninformed gossip cripples the village.  It is best to get the information straight from those who make policy, the Aldermen and Alderwoman.

     By the end of August, there will be a Town Hall meeting to discuss the Water Treatment Plant.  The actual date of the Town Hall will be decided in the Workshop.

     Accurate and correct correct communication is essential at all times.  However, it is especially essential these next 4-5 months.  There are several good sources:

     (1) Monthly BOA and Workshop meetings.

     (2) The Village Voice Newspaper.  (Read Post: VV, a Voice of Communication)

     (3) The Quarterly newsletter with Aldermen and Alderwoman articles and information

     (4)  Salado Mayor Blog. Blogspot. com.  The Blog is written by the Mayor 4-6 times a week and covers not only Village Business but activities and events.  An average of 45 people a day read the Blog.

     (5) SaladoTx.Gov, the Village official Website

     (6) The Chamber of Commerce weekly events' email

Please tell you friends to read daily the SaladoTx.Gov and the Blog.  They are both easy to access; just type it in your browser and within seconds you will be reading.
