Friends,

Monday evening, 6 P.M. is an "Evening with the Mayor" for citizens.  It is the first of 4 evenings with the other three being "shop/business owners,""Service Organizations," and "Newcomers -- people who have lived in Salado less than three years."

The only agenda is to discuss business that is of interest to you taking the question and answer format.  It is not an official BOA event but it will be posted in order for Aldermen/lady to attend.  There is no expectation for them to speak or answer questions.  That is their choice, however, this is the Mayor's event.

The Mayor will not do all the talking.  Communication is three ways:  talking, listening, and processing. Your ideas, suggestions, and recommendations will be appreciated.  Not to hurt anyone's feelings, this is not for one citizen to do all the talking or ask all the questions.  It is important that everyone has the opportunity to speak if they desire.  This is not a town hall, it is an opportunity to have a chat with your Mayor.

Nothing more, nothing less.  There is no agenda.  Just conversation in the Municipal Building.

This is your invitation to attend.  There is no expectation on having many or having few or having no one.  It will last an hour but I am willing to go an extra 30 minutes.  My day usually starts at 2 in the morning and ends at 10:30-11 in the evening so 1.5 hours of intense conversation is about as much as I can do.
