Friends,
Thursday's Town Hall meeting on the construction of the Salado Plaza Bridge is important as it will effect the north end of Salado for 4-5 months. Those of us who work at Fort Hood, Temple, Belton, Waco and other places north will experience inconvenience. High School traffic will be re-routed around the construction area. It will be similar if not worse than the Holland Bridge fiasco. You need to understand what is going to happen. Most of all the timing of the year -- summer, fall, and early winter.
This is the last major phase of the I-35 Construction and it will begin in less than two weeks. This Town Hall is different that other Town Halls. It is an information gathering and pre-planning for the last of the construction. You should attend because it will affect you and your family. It has to be done in order to complete the construction and end this three-year nightmare. We must make the point that it will be completed in 4 months or less with as little inconvenience as possible. This takes you, the citizens of Salado.
TXDoT and James Construction requested the Town Hall.
