Tonight, 4th of July Celebration by the Historic Society

Friends,

The Salado Historic Society will present a spectacular Fourth of July Program tonight, 6 P.M., in the Salado Intermediate School.  They will even furnish the fried chicken!  All we have to bring is ourselves, a salad, and a side dish.

The program will include:

1.  A ceremonial signing of the Declaration of Independence

2.  The Sons of the American Revolution color guard presenting the U.S. Flag

3. Local children leading the Pledge of Allegiance

4. A local brass ensemble presenting patriotic music

5.  Actors reciting quotes from seven notable patriots who were involved in declaring the 13 colonies "free and independent.

It is going to be a great evening with friends and celebration.

Please come and enjoy.  It would not be a celebration without you.
